Assignment Price Calculator
Guessing what your assignment will cost wastes time — and most quote forms make you wait for a reply. This calculator uses our real published rates, the same ones listed on our pricing page, so the price you see here is the price you pay. Choose your academic level, word count and deadline for an instant total.
Quick word counts:
How the price is worked out
The maths is simple and the same for every order: price = (words ÷ 1,000) × rate per 1,000 words × level multiplier. The rate depends on how much time you give us, and the multiplier reflects the level of specialist your work needs.
| Deadline | Rate per 1,000 words |
| 14+ days (standard) | £20 |
| 7 days | £26 |
| 5 days | £32 |
| 3 days | £40 |
| 48 hours (urgent) | £48 |
Level multipliers: Undergraduate ×1.0, Masters ×1.25, PhD ×1.5. Example: a 2,000-word undergraduate essay with a standard deadline costs 2 × £20 × 1.0 = £40. The same essay at Masters level costs 2 × £20 × 1.25 = £50. No VAT surprises, no hidden fees — the total above is the total you pay.
Why order earlier if you can?
The deadline is the single biggest lever on price. The same 3,000-word Masters assignment costs £75 with two weeks to spare and £180 at 48 hours — planning ahead literally halves the bill. If your deadline is close, do not panic: send us the brief on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly what is achievable. You can also plan the work itself with our assignment deadline planner, and check what your marks mean for your degree with the degree classification calculator.

Where these rates come from
The figures in this calculator are not estimates scraped from competitors — they are our own published rate card, the same one set out in full on the pricing page, applied in the open so you can check the arithmetic yourself. Three variables decide the total. The deadline tier sets the base rate per 1,000 words: £20 at the standard tier of 14 days or more, rising through £26 at seven days and £32 at five days to £40 at three days and £48 for 48-hour urgent work, because a shorter deadline means a writer must drop other work and write yours first. The academic level then applies a multiplier — undergraduate work at the base rate, Masters at 1.25 times, and PhD at 1.5 times — reflecting the qualifications the writer needs: doctoral-level work is written by specialists with doctorates in the subject. Finally, the word count scales the result in direct proportion, charged per word rather than rounded up to the next thousand, so a 1,500-word assignment costs exactly one and a half times the 1,000-word rate. The delivery date shown with your price is simply today's date plus the days in the tier you chose.
What this quote does and does not cover
For ordinary written assignments — essays, reports, coursework, dissertation chapters — the total you see here is the total you pay: no VAT added at checkout, no separate charges for referencing, formatting or a plagiarism report. Be aware of the honest limits, though. Briefs that involve primary data collection, complex statistical analysis, specialist software output or large volumes of slides can carry an additional charge, and if your brief includes anything like that we will confirm the final figure with you on WhatsApp before any payment is taken — the calculator's number is then the starting point for that conversation, not a contract. Prices can also change if the rate card is updated; the quote that binds us is the one we confirm for your actual order.
Frequently asked questions
Is the price here the exact price I will pay?
For standard written work, yes — the calculator and the checkout use the same rate card, the same multipliers and the same per-word maths, which is the whole point of publishing both. The only exception is a brief with genuine extras, such as data analysis or primary research, where we confirm any addition with you before you pay anything at all.
Why does the deadline change the price so much?
Because time is what you are really buying. With two weeks, your assignment joins a writer's normal schedule. At 48 hours, a specialist has to clear their desk, work unsocial hours and still leave room for quality checks — the tier rates (£20 rising to £48 per 1,000 words) price that disruption honestly, instead of promising an urgent price we could not deliver on.
Do you charge for referencing, formatting or revisions?
No. Referencing in your required style, formatting to your brief, a title page and a plagiarism check are included in the per-word price, and if the delivered work misses something your brief asked for, we revise it — that is part of the service the rate pays for, not an add-on.
How is a part-thousand word count charged — say 1,750 words?
Pro-rata, exactly. The calculator divides your word count by 1,000 and multiplies by the tier rate and level multiplier, so 1,750 undergraduate words at the standard tier cost 1.75 × £20 = £35. There is no rounding up to 2,000 words and no minimum-order trick in the small print.
Can I reduce the price by ordering earlier?
It is the single biggest saving available to you. The same 3,000-word Masters assignment costs £75 on the standard tier and £180 at 48 hours — identical writers, identical quality checks, £105 saved purely by ordering while there is still time. If your deadline allows it, the standard tier is always the smart order.
Before you order, run the numbers that matter
Price is only one of the three numbers in a deadline week — the others are how much writing time you have and what the assignment does to your degree. Our remaining tools answer those, and the whole set is indexed on the free student tools page.
